Joshua Bennett is a servant of the Lord. He graduated with the distinctions of Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2010, after double majoring in English and Africana Studies with minors in Spanish and History. He is a professional performance poet, and has recited his original work at events such as the Sundance Film Festival, The NAACP Image Awards, and President Obama’s evening of poetry and music at the White House.
Noel Scales is a 19-year-old freshman at Temple University majoring in Broadcasting, with a minor in Music. She graduated from the Girard Academic Music Progrram, and has also studied piano, voice, music composition and music theory. Noel has been performing since the age of 11, and was one of the PYPM poets featured in the 2009 HBO docuseries, Brave New Voices.
